We will also show the power of WebVR by using the HTC Vive/oculus rift with Mozilla Firefox, to show that web based 360 immersion is here for all major headsets today. We will have the Microsoft MR, HTC/rift and Gear 360 for demos. Speaker Dirk Z. Gombos

How to convert VR/MR content to AR (Hololens)

The AR space is just starting the media production cycle ramp up including ARKit and ARCore for mobile AR…Vr has been the testing ground and bridge for AR to take over the commercial/enterprise verticals and allow VR to further tighten in the gaming sector along with various niche markets like travel. VR will still be relevant, but it may become the DVD to AR as the blu-ray if we can use old analogies. Porting to AR is key, so we will show an AR example of openstreetVR in the Hololens. Introduction by Dirk Z. Gombos and group discussion.
