WORLDWIDE PEACE POSSIBLE?
From our species origins some approximately 300,000 years ago in Africa, until agriculture began ~12,000 years BP (Before Present), humankind mainly existed as small (20 to perhaps up to 200 individuals) hunter-gatherer groups (’tribes’). It is likely during this extensive time period from Homo sapiens origins to 12,000 BP there predominantly was harmony within each small group, although there may well have been some periodic conflict between groups due to the competition for resources to adequately feed themselves..
However, archaeological findings suggest that while sporadic violence has always existed, organized, large-scale warfare became more common following... more at the meeting!
