# Introverts, Icebreakers & Board Games

Want to meet new people without the pressure of a loud or unstructured social event?

Join us for a relaxed, introvert-friendly afternoon at Pizzeria Ludica in New Westminster. This meetup is designed to make connecting easier by giving everyone a simple activity to focus on and a comfortable way to become familiar with the group.
New members are welcome, and no previous board game experience is needed. Our host, Milan, will guide the activities, explain the games, and help everyone feel included.

## Before you arrive

Please arrive by 4:10 PM so you have time to settle in and we can begin together at 4:15 PM.
The meetup is free to join. However, to support the venue, each attendee must spend at least $15 on food or drinks.

## Finding us

We’ll meet inside Pizzeria Ludica.
Look for Milan and the introvert meetup group. If you have trouble finding us, send Milan a message through the Meetup app, and he’ll help guide you.

## A respectful and welcoming environment

Before the activities begin, all attendees will be asked to acknowledge the group’s code of conduct and agree to behave politely and respectfully toward other attendees, the host, the staff, and the venue.
Our goal is to create a comfortable and welcoming environment where everyone feels respected and included.
There will be no pressure to be overly outgoing, speak in front of the entire group, or share more than you feel comfortable sharing.

## Icebreaker activity

We’ll begin with one beginner-friendly icebreaker game using conversation cards.
Each person will respond to simple prompts that will help everyone learn a little about one another and become more familiar with the group. You can share as much or as little as you feel comfortable with.
The icebreaker will last approximately 15–30 minutes and will be guided by the host.

## Board game session

After the icebreaker, we’ll play a beginner-friendly board game together for approximately 90 minutes.
The rules will be explained before we begin, so no previous experience is required.
Having a game to focus on gives everyone a shared activity and allows conversations to happen naturally, without the pressure of making constant small talk.

## Registration balance

To help create a comfortable and well-balanced group, we may manage registrations to encourage a more equal balance among genders.
