### ⚖️ Shakespeare’s Julius Caesar— Rhetoric, Power, Crowd

No homework. Modern‑English version available. DM me.

Description
Julius Caesar is Shakespeare’s sharpest look at politics in motion: ambition colliding with loyalty, ideals clashing with pragmatism, and words that can raise or ruin a republic. We’ll use the play as a lens on timeless questions—What makes a leader legitimate? How do crowds get swayed? Can noble motives survive the theater of power?

How we’ll do it

  • 2–3‑minute recap so everyone’s oriented.
  • Read a few key speech excerpts (original + modern‑English on the page).
