Have you ever wandered past an Asian bakery, curious about what’s inside but unsure what to try? Do you love exploring new flavours and discovering the stories behind your favourite treats? Then join us for a free Asian Bakery Crawl—a guided tasting tour through Richmond, the mecca of all things Asian food. Truth and Love Association (www.truthlove.ca) a volunteer-led, grass-roots non-profit organization is pleased to host this free cultural walking tour: a 90-minute guided event introduces participants to a variety of Asian baked goods and the cultural traditions behind them. Led by a passionate foodie from generations of food lovers (before “foodie” was even a word!), this experience is your chance to learn about iconic and lesser-known baked delights, learn the cultural context behind each bite, and connect with others who share your curiosity and appetite.
