### 🧘‍♀️✍️ Meditation + Journaling Circle - a 30-minute reset

Guided meditation + quiet journaling (no experience needed).

Most days, your mind doesn’t get a clean minute. It just gets… more input. More tabs. More opinions. More noise.

This meetup is the opposite: a short, intentional reset - 10–15 minutes of guided meditation with an experienced teacher, then 20 minutes of journaling while you’re still calm and clear.
Not therapy. Not a lecture. Not a performance. Just a room where your nervous system can unclench and your thoughts can finally land on paper.
This is our first event like this, so we’re keeping it simple - and if it clicks, we’ll make it a recurring thing.

What we’ll explore

  • What your mind keeps circling lately (and what it’s avoiding)
  • The difference between “thinking” and actually hearing yourself
  • What shows up when the noise drops
  • Clarity - what matters, what doesn’t, what can wait

How we’ll do it

  • Arrive, settle in, quick hello
  • Guided meditation (10–15 min) led by a meditation teacher
  • Journaling (20 min) with a few optional prompts (or write whatever you need)

When and where

  • Date: January 20th
  • Time: 6 pm
  • Location: Vancouver Central library - L4 north - Room 492
Please arrive a few minutes early so we can start the meditation on time.

Capacity : 6 - 8 people

Bring

  • A notebook + pen (or your preferred journaling setup)
  • Water
  • Whatever helps you sit comfortably (optional: cushion, sweater)
