๐Ÿคฏ๐Ÿง ๐Ÿ’ป Psych Out - Is the brain a computer? How does it process information?
In-depth group discussion

Short summary
With the rise of computers and smartphones, it's hard to escape the world of code. Especially with the advancements in AI it's easy to say that our brains also do similar "coding" with its own "algorithms" but are our brains really computers? What is a computer anyway? What would it mean if our intelligence is the result of computations? Does it make any difference?

Discussion Materials
Here are some videos of David Eagleman, a creative neuroscientist, who talks about the nature of our senses and how we construct our version of reality in our heads. He proposes a 'Mr Potatohead' model of the brain, where any senses could be plugged in and the brain will simply make sense of it.
