🪞 Coming Home To Our True Self: The Psychology Of Living Authentically
Details
🪞 Many of us spend our lives pursuing things we believe will make us happy, only to find ourselves feeling empty, disconnected, or unfulfilled when we finally achieve them.
We learn who we're supposed to be from our parents, our upbringing, our culture, and the expectations of society. Over time, we can become so accustomed to living according to these expectations that we lose touch with what we genuinely want and who we really are.
The plan
In this talk, we'll explore the psychology behind why this happens, how our childhood experiences shape the people we become, and how to recognize the ways we may be living inauthentically. Most importantly, we'll discuss practical ways to reconnect with ourselves and begin building a life that feels genuinely our own.
