๐Ÿง˜๐Ÿ““ We're meeting at Vancouver Central Library for contemplative meditation and journaling.

A thought can keep returning all week without becoming any clearer. What happens when you give it a quiet moment and a page instead of another distraction? Something that feels urgent in your head can look different when you have to put it into words. You might find a practical concern, an assumption you have been repeating, or a question that does not need an answer tonight. The point is to notice what is there without rushing to turn it into a task.

The plan
We'll begin with opening comments, then a short reading, quiet contemplative meditation, a pass-the-stick round with brief sharing, journaling, and discussion.

This is contemplative meditation, not guided narration. One full two-hour session, not shorter drop-ins.
No previous meditation experience needed.

  • What changes when you notice a thought without immediately agreeing with it?
  • How does writing to understand something differ from writing to find a solution?
  • What might someone gain from leaving a question unanswered for an evening?
