🎬 Hayao Miyazaki: Beautiful Worlds, Difficult Questions

🎬 We're getting together to talk about Hayao Miyazaki and his work through Quality Culture's video essay The Conflicting Ideals of Hayao Miyazaki.

Miyazaki's films can be full of wonder without pretending the world is harmless. What happens when a love of nature, flight and human creativity runs into the violence those same humans can cause?

The plan

Please watch The Conflicting Ideals of Hayao Miyazaki by Quality Culture beforehand: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UG6XzB_J3IA.

The video runs 1 hour 41 minutes. It replaces the unavailable Never-Ending Man documentary. There is no screening at the event.
