Embracing Microservice Ownership

Details
Talk Synopsis
If you're in tech, you've probably heard the phrase "You Build It, You Run It" before, but what does it really mean? As many teams shift to working with a DevOps mindset, roles and responsibilities that were once clear become blurry and enabling ownership becomes even more important.
Join Madeline, Senior Engineering Manager of Developer Productivity and Enablement at Diligent, to explore the transition from traditional development models towards a more integrated approach, where developers are not just responsible for writing code, but also for running and maintaining their services in production. Hear from Madeline's experiences, and discuss the benefits and challenges that come with this enabling development teams to fully own their services.
Whether you're a developer, a team lead, or a manager, this talk will help you to embrace the "You Build It, You Run It" philosophy in your organization.
