Cleveland Dam Walk to Park Royal

Cleveland Dam walk and going all the way to Park Royal We are going to start at the top near the parking lot entrance.

This is a 5.2km all downhill unless you want to loop back. If you have a dog they are more then welcome to join us, but they must be on the leech and you have to clean up after them. We will be walking alone side Capilano River, all the way, we will be going through a neighbourhood for a 1km (maybe less). If you would like to stop and take pictures let me know. You can get easily lost if you are new to these woods.

⚠️ Warning the trail could be muddy and slippery so come prepared.

This is a 1h and 18 minutes according to google but it could take us longer to get to park royal if we walk slower.

What to bring:
wear hiking shoes (good shoes with grips)
snacks
Water bottle 2 liter or more is required on a hot day
Sunscreen,
Sun hat,
Sunglasses
Snacks
Light jacket

How to get there if you do not drive you can take the bus 246 Highland and get off at Northbound Capilano RD @ Paisley RD and wait for the 236 bus Grouse Mtn. Get off at Northbound Nancy Greeene Way @ Prospect Ave, walk back a little bit to the parking lot across the street and head to the entrance way. NOTE: because it is Saturday the 236 runs every 30 minutes so plan ahead and arrive early or time or we will leave you behind.

**If you're on the waitlist, you are welcome to join us; occasionally, people drop out at the last minute. As long as you sign the waiver. I do take attendance so I know who I have with me. **
