Day trip to Bowen Island!!!

Day trip to Bowen Island. We would go in on the 9:05 am ferry

Please arrive no later than 8:45 am; the 10-minute cut-off is at 8:55 am. The ferry will not wait for anyone who is running late.

The ferry over will be roughly 30 minutes. Once the ferry has landed, we will walk for 30 minutes to the start of the trail. We will do the Mount Gardner hike, which is **hard at 4.5 (according to all trails). It is 5km there and 5 km back. Making it a total of 10 km. **

If anyone would like, we could go for food and drinks at Bowen Island pub (the food is excellent). Then, take the ferry back around 3-5 pm.

Please note you do need to join us for food. You are more than welcome to take the ferry back as soon as we have finished our hike.

What to bring:
Water 2L or more
mosquito spray
packed lunch
snack
hiking shoes (good shoes with grips)
hiking poles (optional)
sun hat and sunglasses (optional)
first aid kit (optional)

**Ferry cost: $11.60/person. We only have to pay one way. **

Second note: Hopefully, it doesn't rain, but be prepared.
