Seawall Walk: Canada Place to Stanley Park
Details
Join me for a relaxed walk along Vancouver’s iconic seawall.
Meeting point: Starbucks near Canada Place
I’ll wait 8 minutes for everyone to arrive before we start walking. If you’re running late, no worries, you’re welcome to catch up with us along the way. Please don’t message me asking where the group is. I’ll likely be chatting and won’t be able to check my phone. Don’t worry, we’ll be easy to find since we’ll be staying on the seawall the entire time.
Route:
We’ll begin along the waterfront, following the seawall until we reach the washrooms at Logger’s Arch. From there, we’ll continue behind the Vancouver Aquarium, then head back toward the city, finishing around Robson Street and Denman Street. Please note that we will not end where we started.
Washrooms:
Starbucks at the meeting point
Washrooms near Club 16 Fitness in Coal Harbour
Washrooms in Stanley Park
Lumberman’s Arch
These are the main washroom stops along the route.
Parking:
Parking is available in Stanley Park (approximately $2–$6 per hour). If you park there, you’ll need to make your way to Starbucks at Canada Place to meet us and return to your car afterward.
I estimate the walk will take about two hours, but this depends on the group’s pace and may take a bit longer.
Weather:
This event will only be cancelled in cases of extreme weather, such as snow, blizzards, hail, or strong winds. Please dress appropriately for the conditions.
What to bring:
Comfortable walking shoes
Warm clothing
A water bottle
A rain jacket (just in case)
Snacks if you think you’ll get hungry
Looking forward to a scenic walk and good company along the seawall ✨
