Fall colours are starting to appear and there is a very interesting event taking
place at Van Dusen Garden - let’s go check it out.

The Artists for Conservation Festival is a culture event that immerses visitors in a cohesive blend of visual art, musical and First Nations cultural performances, plein-air sketching, live music, and art demos.

WHERE WILL MEET: Once you have paid your admission we will meet in the lobby at 10:00, say our hellos and then head off. We will spend 1.5 hours in the garden and then meet at 11:45 in the main building Truffles Garden Cafe for coffee.
HOW DO I GET THERE: For transit info....www.translink.ca. If driving, there is metered street parking and free parking in their lot.
WHAT SHOULD I BRING?
A Camera, it doesn't matter if you have a camera phone, a point and shoot or a DSLR, any camera is fine.....a tripod is Wear comfortable clothes and footwear.
RSVP Protocol - if you RSVP to this event and then can’t make it please have the courtesy to change your RSVP so we know in advance that you are not coming. Please do this a soon as you know so that another member on the waiting list can attend.
