Hotel Lobbies …. A Photographic Journey.
Details
It’s a holiday Monday … let’s go for a walk downtown!
Hotel lobbies serve as the central, multifunctional hub of a hotel, transitioning from simple check-in waiting areas into social, cultural, and productive spaces.
They are designed to create a strong first impression through immersive, sensory, and aesthetic choices,
Downtown Vancouver offers several striking hotel lobbies perfect for photography, ranging from historic, ornate designs to modern, artistic spaces.
Top spots include the luxurious Rosewood Hotel Georgia, the Executive Hotel Le Soleil featuring a warm gold-toned lobby with a romantic European boutique feel and the Wedgewood Hotel, renowned for its intimate, European-style elegance
We will meet in the main lobby of the Vancouver Art Gallery say our hellos, explain the route and head out from there. We will also go for coffee after the meet up …. Location to be determined.
Taking transit is your best option, but there is metered street parking and several parking garages nearby, including an expensive one at the hotel.
RSVP Protocol - if you RSVP to this event and then can't make it please have the courtesy to change your RSVP so that someone on the waiting list will have a chance to participate. If you are on the wait list and can't make it, please remove your name as well.
