Details

Yaletown is the area of Vancouver east of Homer between Robson Street and False Creek. It’s the neighbourhood where trendy meets historical.

The area features old warehouse buildings that have been transformed into residential loft spaces and corporate offices, trendy restaurants and boutiques as well as a few small parks and open spaces.

WHERE WILL WE MEET: We will start this photowalk at the Jennifer Kostiuk gallery, which is currently hosting an exhibit by established photographer David Burdeny. We will then head out to explore Yaletown. Following the walk, we will determine where to stop for coffee
How do I get there? For transit info....www.translink.ca. If driving, PLEASE CHECK YOUR ROUTE OUT AHEAD OF TIME. There are multiple road closures in the area due to FIFA. Once you arrive there is hourly street parking and lots In the area.
*Rain - if there is rain in the forecast, we will cancel this meet-up no later than 6pm on June 5. We reserve to right to cancel this meetup if there are 5 or less members attending.
WHAT SHOULD I BRING? A camera, it doesn't matter if you have a camera phone, a point and shoot or a DSLR, any camera is fine Wear comfortable clothes and footwear.
