Granville Island was created in the early 20th century through landfill and was originally known as Industrial Island. It was transformed into a cultural and commercial hub in the 1970s, focusing on preserving its industrial character while promoting local businesses and arts.
Where will we meet?
COFFEE FIRST
We will meet for coffee first at the Blue Parrot at 9:00 If you cannot join us for coffee, please meet us here at 10:00 and we will head out to explore.
What should I bring?
Your camera of choice. It doesn't matter smartphone, point and shoot, DSLR or mirrorless …. any camera is fine. Dress for the weather.
How do I get there?

If you are driving, pay parking is available all over the island.
~ RSVP Protocol - if you RSVP to this event and then can't make it please have the courtesy to change your RSVP so that people on the waiting list will have a chance to participate. If you are on the wait list and can't make it, please remove your name as well.
