Well, spreadsheet enthusiast Alison Pollecutt is willing to bet that there are things you have already done manually that “Go To Special” could help you do a lot quicker.Imagine this scenario: You’re checking a spreadsheet for errors and want to find all the cells with constants, in case someone has unhelpfully typed over a formula with a number. Maybe you’re trying to spot any inconsistencies hidden in plain sight? Or you’ve got to update all your formulas but they are in cells that are not next to each other so the “copy and paste” approach is one formula at a time.
“Go To Special” can help with all of these and more. It may not be the most flashy Excel tool but, when you know what’s possible, you’ll love its simple magic.
