SESSION OUTLINE:
LAMBDA is a powerful function in Excel that allow you to create custom formulas. In this session, Gaëtan Mourmant will cover the basics of LAMBDA and explore its advanced uses in the real world. He'll touch on some of the basics of LAMBDA and how it differs from LET, using LAMBDA in the real world, managing collections of functions, and more. He'll also dive into some more advanced uses of LAMBDA and helper functions, as well as looking at how functional programming can help with best practices for LAMBDA.
SPEAKER PROFILE:
Gaëtan Mourmant is a Microsoft MVP (Most Valuable Professional) in Excel (2021-2023). He has been teaching advanced Excel/VBA courses for years, both in academia and in the corporate world. Gaëtan has co-developed and implemented over a hundred Excel applications, including the recent FormXL Pro (www.formxlpro.com). He holds a PhD in Management Information Systems (MIS) from the University of Paris Dauphine and Georgia State University. Besides Excel, Gaëtan's research interests cover meditation, Classic Grounded Theory, and Entrepreneurial Decision Making.

REGISTRATION:
This meet-up will be hosted on Microsoft Teams, and will be recorded to share with others who were not able to attend live. You must RSVP for the event in order to access the Teams Meeting link.
JOINING THE EVENT:
Attendees can join the Teams Meeting starting at 4:45pm on the day of the event. The link will be visible only if you RSVP beforehand.
Once the event gets underway at 5:00pm, we ask that attendees make sure they are on MUTE, so background noise and distractions are minimized.
During the presentation, attendees can type questions and comments into the chat area, which will be monitored by the event hosts. There will be time for Q&A at the end, where attendees can un-mute their mic and even share their video to ask questions.
