It’s never been more important to have a dynamic financial model to accurately predict business outcomes and forecast volatile economic inputs. One of the biggest issues facing users of Excel, particularly for those building financial models is the possibility of error. Join us to hear from financial modelling specialist, Danielle Stein Fairhurst as she explains financial modelling best practices for robust and dynamic models, dos, don’ts and ways to reduce the risk of error for building financial models in Excel.

SPEAKER PROFILE:
Danielle Stein Fairhurst is the Principal of Plum Solutions, a Sydney-based consultancy specialising in financial modelling and analysis. She is a Microsoft MVP, Master Financial Modeler (FMI), LinkedIn Learning instructor and the author of “Using Excel for Business and Financial Modelling”, Third Edition published by Wiley Finance 2019 and “Financial Modeling in Excel for Dummies” second edition published by Wiley in 2022. She founded the Financial Modellers’ Meetup groups, and in 2022 she was awarded the “Lifetime Achievement Award” at the Financial Modelling Summit.

REGISTRATION:
This meet-up will be hosted on Microsoft Teams, and will be recorded to share with others who were not able to attend live. You must RSVP for the event in order to access the Teams Meeting link.

JOINING THE EVENT:
Attendees can join the Teams Meeting starting at 4:45pm on the day of the event. The link will be visible only if you RSVP beforehand.

Once the event gets underway at 5:00pm, we ask that attendees make sure they are on MUTE, so background noise and distractions are minimized.

During the presentation, attendees can type questions and comments into the chat area, which will be monitored by the event hosts. There will be time for Q&A at the end, where attendees can un-mute their mic and even share their video to ask questions.
