We've teamed up with the Data Science Meetup (https://www.meetup.com/DataScience/) to organize an event focused on bringing you some actionable code for projects and APIs available for Scala and data applications. To start, Yasha Podeswa from Hootsuite's Data Lab will talk about building service-oriented data pipelines for business intelligence teams, and provide a live coding session. To wrap up our event, I'll be giving a short Introduction to Deeplearning4j in Scala, and show you how to setup and train a basic convolutional network.
Location is TBA and the date Thursday April 14 @ 6pm. Doors open at 6 and presentations will start at 6:30pm.
