Single Dads Virtual Roundtable Discussion on "The Lost Boys Report" (Online)

Details
What's up, Single Dads!!!
Going to try out something new and different from our usual low key casual in person get-togethers here - after listening to one of my favorite podcasts (Diary of a CEO) where the host and guests discuss some of the modern day challenges faced by boys and men based on a report by the "Centre for Social Justice" called "THE LOST BOYS", I couldn't help but to resonate with soo many of the topics and thought it might be cool to engage in a round table style type discussion online about it with some of my favorite people in the world - us Single Dads!!!
Here is a link to the Youtube version of the podcast which is also available on Spotify, Apple Podcasts or whereever you can get your podcast content:

As men and Single Dads, we carry a powerful responsibility—and opportunity—to raise the next generation of young men with strength, purpose, and emotional clarity. In this online discussion, we’ll explore how society is failing boys and men and what we can do to break the cycle. (This is still relevant and applicable if you only have daughters too, imo)!
Whether you're navigating co-parenting or managing fatherhood solo, this is a safe space for support, strategy, and sharing your own personal experiences.
### Key Discussion Points:
- The Fatherhood Gap: How does father absence impact boys and girls, and how can single dads actively counter it?
- Raising Emotionally Healthy Sons: Helping boys express emotions while maintaining resilience.
- Breaking the ‘Lost Boy’ Cycle: What do our sons and all young men need most from us in today’s disconnected world?
- School & Learning Gaps: Why are boys falling behind in education, and how can we advocate for them?
- Tech, Porn & Masculinity: Navigating online influences and building a healthy view of manhood.
- The Role Model Deficit: How can we surround our sons with strong male mentors and community support?
- Mental Health for Men: Recognizing signs and creating a space for open conversation.
- The New Masculinity: How can we teach strength without suppression, and power without dominance?
- Balancing Discipline & Compassion: Setting boundaries with love as a single parent.
- The Legacy You’re Leaving: What do you want your son to say about you in 20 years?
- Do modern societal narratives support or suppress healthy masculinity?
- What’s being rewarded and what’s being punished in the public square?
• How do we lead without apology — and what does that look like today? - Loneliness in men — what’s driving it?
• Is it lack of connection, purpose, community, or something deeper?
• How do we address it without falling into the trap of therapy culture? - Are we raising boys to become strong men, or soft men?
• What are we seeing in younger men around us — resilience or fragility?
• Where is the father figure, and how do we model masculinity for the next generation?
As you can see, there's a lot to discuss and we likely won't be able to get into all of it, but look forward to starting the conversation and seeing where it leads us!
