Do you enjoy going to spiritual/new age/heart and consciousness-focused events? Or perhaps you would like to share the info about your spiritual event with others? If your answer is yes, this group is for you!
This is a very open meetup, and you are welcome and encouraged to post your events here as long as you are respectful of the spiritual choices of others.
The goal of this meetup group is to help us get together to celebrate our spiritual awakening and transformation and create, experience and share with others beautiful and powerful group energy by participating in different spiritual events happening in the city of Vancouver, meeting like-minded people and expanding our spiritual community. In the world where we've spent so much time training our minds to be extremely busy at all times, our main concentration will be on opening our hearts through participating in group meditations, workshops, retreats, chanting, dancing, drum circles, yoga classes, spiritual concerts and performances and much more.

ONLINE SPIRITUAL POETRY MEETUP
·OnlineOnlineWe meet online the third Sunday of every month from 4:00-6:00pm Pacific Time to read and discuss spiritual poetry and wisdom quotes, and to share thoughts, feelings and insights inspired by the readings. About 25 people attend from several groups - we'd love to hear from you what poem or quote is meaningful to you - Do you love Rumi, Rilke, Joy Harjo, Hafiz, Mary Oliver, Alice Walker, Ryokan, Thomas Merton, Mirabai, Pablo Neruda, Hildegard of Bingen, Wendell Berry, Nâzım Hikmet, Thich Nhat Hanh or...? Every meetup is different, depending on what you choose to read and discuss. Let's learn from each other as we share these invitations to what is higher and deeper.
Please RSVP by three hours prior to the meetup to make sure to get the password on time!
We draw strength, support, and inspiration from poetry and wisdom traditions. All paths and views are welcome -- this is an open and welcoming space where we get to know others who share a love for spiritual poetry and wisdom quotes, and for that which connects us with a deeper life, regardless of spiritual path or personal history. (We value and appreciate the poets among us, but we do not read our own work.)
NOTE: RSVPs close three hours before the meetup begins. To join the meeting you must be logged in on Zoom, and a password is required. The password will be sent by direct message or email as we get closer to the date. Please make sure your email settings on Meetup allow you to receive Meetup's emails for this group, and please check your Meetup account for messages.
