There will be some instruction, some practice and some time for questions and answers. It will be fun!

Why do we come together?

We come together to be supported in choosing a different way of living. A way that brings clarity in both our bodies and minds.

You will be encouraged and supported to think of and present yourself in a way that you might not be used to. By choosing to try something new (or even being open to it,) you will be creating a new way of being, a new habit.

Note: Since our old habits have not been helpful, we won't be indulging them or reinforcing them.

There will be a little bit of structure:

1 - You will be asked to own your words and speak only from your own experience, using "I" statements

2 - I will ask you if you would be open to a question or a comment ... (you have every right to say yes or no)

3 - If you would like to ask me a question or make a comment, please ask. (Depending on what is happening in the moment, I may say yes or no and I may ask "why" you want to ask the question or make the comment)

Note: the structure is a tool that we can use to learn to be clear about our experience in the moment, so that we can know and clearly express what we have to say and have a better chance of seeing and being seen by others.

What to expect ...

The whole workshop is about focusing on "feeling" our experience instead of "thinking" about it.

I will be sharing some thoughts and examples to help give some context for how I feel we got to be the way we are today.

The activities offered are simple and involve choosing where to put our focus and attention so that we can start "feeling" the messages our bodies are giving us in the moment without any stories or ideas attached.

I won't be sharing anything new to you because you already know all of this ... it is part of your true nature and has always been inside you but for various reasons you have been taught not to trust this part of yourself.

If you are coming to learn some new ideas and techniques, you will be disappointed because what I am sharing is how to let go of all that we "know" about ourselves and life and just start "feeling" our connection to ourselves and life instead.

I realize that feeling this clearly can be challenging and that is why we come together as a group to do this together. I will encourage you to only do what you are comfortable with and to take good care of yourself.

Questions are encouraged as they help focus the evening on what you are interested in and not what I think should be shared.

If the group format doesn't work for you or you would like more focused support, I can work privately with you. Just send me a message through Meetup letting me know what kind of support you are looking for and I will get right back to you.

Please Note: To create a safe container, the workshop will start on time and once the workshop has started, no one else will be admitted.

Also, there is no requirement to stay for the whole 2 hours ... come and stay until you are full!

If this is your first zoom meeting, you will be asked to install zoom.
