Sketching at Science World

Details

Organizing a last-minute meet up! How did you all enjoy the rain earlier this week? I noticed that the weather forecast is indicating clear skies on Sunday and then it’s looking like another wet and rainy week. Hopefully we can take advantage of the sun while it lasts! :)

Continuing the theme of architectural landmarks that define Vancouver – how about the iconic geodesic-dome of Science World?

Located on the beautiful False Creek, the building was built in 1984 to serve as the Expo Center for the Expo 86 World’s Fair.

Let’s meet in the large open space in front of Science World at 1PM.

We will disperse and sketch for 2 hours.

Let’s then meet back at 3PM to do our sketchbook throwdown and share our sketches!

If you’re taking public transportation, it’s a short walk from Mainstreet-Science World Skytrain Station.

Looking forward to seeing everyone!

*Beginners are welcome!
