Not an event - please note this group will close March 8 but it's not the end

Hi fellow sketchers,

I am the elusive founder who started this Meetup group. I have not been involved with this group in a few years due to life circumstances, but I will soon have more time to participate more, starting this summer.

I noticed that some of the organizers have started moving this group to Substack which is free, and that is great timing. I have been paying for the meetup fee for several years, and am behind on recording my payments and requesting contributions, so in effect I have been donating about $400 a year to keep this group running.

Knowing that the group has found another home that is not Facebook (I'm not on FB) I have cancelled the 6-month renewal of $200+ coming up on March 8 and this is your notification.

Starting now, please go to https://uskvancouver.substack.com/ to continue seeing events and participating in discussions etc.

After March 8, this Meetup site will be shut down unless someone else wants to take over the $400 / year payments and collection of contributions. I believe you can't reply to this message, but can message me on Meetup directly.

Thank you for the enthusiasm that has kept this group growing and going, for 13 years now. I look forward to sketching with USk again soon!
