Special Saturday Walk: PeaceHealth Appletree Sunset 5K

We are turning our Saturday walk into a community event at the PeaceHealth Appletree Sunset 5K at Fort Vancouver. We will meet near the Grant House and walk the 5K route together at an easy conversational pace. We will also stop for a group photo and can grab a quick hangout afterwards.

If you register for the official race you will be timed and receive swag and a medal. The current registration fee for the 5K is about $40 to $50 depending on when you sign up. Full details are available on the event site at whyracingevents.com/appletree-run. Choose the Sunset 5K on September 6.

If you prefer not to register you are still welcome to walk with us for free as part of the group. In that case please RSVP here on Meetup so I know to look for you.

Bring comfortable walking shoes, water, and clothing for the weather. We will all gather near the registration and start area by the Grant House and head to the start together. I will post an update on race day with the exact meetup location once I see the setup.

Everyone is welcome. This is a relaxed and social walk where the focus is conversation, fresh air, and connection.
