Kits Beach Social & Kindred Karaoke: Charqui's!✨️

First, beach, then food/karaoke down the street✨️🏖🍲🍷👩🏽‍🎤👨‍🎤!!

This week has some beautiful weather, which we know will not last long, so let's make the most of these remaining sunny days!!

At VWG's Karaoke meetups, we are dipping our toes in, or swimming in the deep, as we sing together as first-timers or seasoned amateurs. Cheerleader energy is recommended, singing participation is not mandatory although you aspire to muster up the courage someday! Come simply to chat and make friends with the table and those who sing your favorite artists!
Karaoke is open to the public, as is the bar, so prepare for the louder night out!

The Gathering:

We will meet at Kitsilano beach for a low-key social with surprise games in store👀🎲✨️...then we will head to Charqui's🍲🍷👩🏽‍🎤 - about a 5 minute walk from the beach - for food/drinks/karaoke!

Charqui's has a couple microphones ready for your silly or serious solo, as well as your best buddy or equally nervous first-timer duet partner!
Here's for the sake of having fun, letting go and activating your vagus nerve through singing (yes, as soon as you get comfortable into your song, your vagus nerve will activate to reduce your anxiety and increase regulation)!!
Let's surrender to all the noise, share some songs, as well as casual conversations over dinner/drinks!
