Join the WordCamp Canada 2026 Organizing Team!
If you are interested in being an organizer for WordCamp Canada 2026 hosted in Vancouver, please join us for a virtual meeting on December 1st at 7pm. If you are unavailable but want to be involved, please reach out to Jonathon Leathers.
The purpose of this meeting is to create an organizing team. Here are examples of some roles that will need to be filled:
- Finding sponsors
- Speaker recruitment and selection
- Publicity, marketing, social media
- Design (website, swag, signage, etc)
- Volunteer coordinating
- Venue logistics (conference venue, after party venue, food/drinks, etc)
- Conference A/V
- Coordinating the organizing team
Many of those roles benefit from having multiple organizers which lightens the load for everyone. If you feel you can help with any of those, please join us to learn more and contribute to the team!
