Come for one night or spend the whole weekend - it’s completely up to you!

Whether you’re an experienced camper or heading out on your very first camping trip, you’re welcome around our campfire.

The Vancouver Camping Club exists to make camping more accessible, less intimidating, and a lot more social. Our goal is simple: remove the barriers that keep people from getting outdoors.

Solo campers are especially encouraged to join. We’re building a welcoming community where it’s easy to meet new people, learn new skills, and enjoy the outdoors together.

🎒 Club Gear Inventory

One of the biggest barriers to camping is simply not having the equipment.

Our growing Club Gear Inventory helps remove that barrier by giving members the opportunity to try quality gear before investing in their own.

Available equipment currently includes:

• Sleeping Bags
• Air Mattresses & Sleeping Pads
• Camping Chairs & Furniture
• Battery Power Stations
• Hammock Tent Systems
• Tentsile Tree Tents
• Other camping essentials

Whether you’re trying camping for the very first time or want to experience premium equipment before buying your own, we’ve got you covered.

All proceeds from the Club Gear Inventory are reinvested into maintaining, replacing and expanding our shared equipment so more people can enjoy the outdoors.

Squamish Valley Campground

One of the Sea-to-Sky’s most scenic campgrounds featuring:

• Sandy river beach
• Calm swimming area
• Nearby hiking & biking trails
• Whitewater rafting nearby
• Endless forestry roads to explore

Squamish is just 25 minutes away for groceries, restaurants and supplies.

💰 Camping Fees

Paid directly to Squamish Valley Campground:

• $20 per person, per night
• $5 per vehicle, per night

There are no Vancouver Camping Club membership or event fees if you’re bringing your own camping equipment, food and supplies.

We’ll have:

• Propane fire ring (fuel contributions appreciated)
• Propane BBQ & basic cooking supplies
• Shelters & tarps in case of rain
• Camp games

ℹ️ Good to Know

• Portable washrooms (bring hand sanitizer)
• No showers
• No potable water (bring your own drinking water)
• Limited cell service (Rogers works in some areas)
• Mosquitoes can be active (bug spray recommended)
• Be bear aware while hiking and exploring
