Spring Walk around Sasamat lake
A spring walk around Sasamat Lake in Belcarra Regional Park near Port Moody offers a serene and refreshing escape into nature. The 3.2 km loop trail encircles the lake, providing a gentle, family-friendly hike through lush second-growth forests and along the tranquil lakeshore. The path is well-maintained with minimal elevation gain, making it accessible for most walkers, though some sections include stairs and uneven terrain.
Spring has sprung, and so has hiking season—time to swap the screens for sunshine and hit the trails with fresh energy.

IMPORTANT:

- Mandatory - Solid shoes with good grip as it might get slippery.
- Optional - hiking poles and other winter gear as required, as it's gonna be cold up there and throughout the way.
- You could be asked to go back if you don't have the required equipment.
