Jug Island Beach Trail is located in Belcarra Regional Park. It leads to a relaxing, secluded beach. The trail is not too difficult but expect many incline/decline switches. A large parking lot is located opposite the trailhead, off Bedwell Bay Road. Parking is $2.50/hour after 10 a.m. Venture around the parking area and enjoy the pier, paddle sport launch and picnic area that overlook Belcarra Bay.
The path follows the peninsula with incline and declines, along Bedwell Bay and leads to a beautiful rocky beach that overlooks Jug Island. It is clean and well-maintained with a mix of scramble, stairs and flat sections. Bathrooms are located at the parking lot and top of the trail.

- Mandatory - Solid shoes with good grip as it might get slippery.
- Optional - hiking poles and other winter gear as per the weather conditions. Please check the weather if it's gonna be cold /wet/hot.
- You could be asked to go back if you don't have the required equipment.
