Happy Hour & Code

A socially distanced social event with software related discussions.

Getting out of the house/home-office/whatever for socializing is a great way to stay connected with the community. Unfortunately, meeting people outside of those in our core bubble isn't currently feasible. This event aims to bring us together as a community, simulating going out to meet others.

Format

Find a local restaurant or pub that isn't too noisy, has Internet, and a table for you you sit with your laptop or other suitable device, and join in on a Google Meet with others in our community.

We will have some short tech-related talks, followed by open discussion.

Short Talks

Drew Ogryzek, meetup organizer, podcast host, and CTO of CompSci Academy will give a short talk on authoring code katas for CodeWars.
