In December we have Peter Armstrong of The Vancouver Ruby/Rails Meetup group to introduce us to using Adobe Flex and Ruby on Rails together. Flex supports building powerful graphic user interfaces while Rails simplifies database integration. Join us to see the power of using them together. Following the presentation we'll have round-the-room introductions and then open the floor for networking. This is a networking event so bring your business/contact cards and a story or 2 to share.

About the Presentation:

This presentation focuses on the why and how of using Adobe Flex 3 and Ruby on Rails 2 together, specifically focusing on HTTPService, XML, REST, Cairngorm and RubyAMF. There will be a short slide presentation and demo.
