VanLUG: Vancouver's Linux User Group
VanLUG started informally in 1995. We are a community for anyone curious about Linux and open source software, from your first terminal command to your tenth production deployment.

Our members include beginners, full stack developers, software engineers, sysadmins, security analysts, data scientists, and DevOps practitioners. We also welcome people who simply use open source tools and want to understand them better. No prior experience is required. No credential is checked at the door.

We welcome people of every race, gender, and background.

What brings us together is curiosity, not qualification.

Meetups cover talks, demos, troubleshooting, and open discussion. Bring a question. Bring a laptop. Bring neither and just listen.
