General Tech Meeting

Unfortunately, both Plan A and Plan B for speakers fell through this month. One potential speaker actually sent me a trouble ticket. As a fall back strategy our November meeting will focus on members. We're thinking that a community night might be an interesting change of pace.
If you'd like to do a short presentation to the group on some aspect of GNU/Linux this is your chance. A ten minute presentation is fine. Longer is even better. No slides? No problem. Tell us about your latest success or why a certain app is just perfect or what your latest project is. We'll also have a discussion-Q&A session so if you've got questions or problems or just want to listen and comment come on out.
After the discussion we'll raffle off a number of technical books and then adjourn to Steamworks for a drink.
