We are also very pleased to be holding a Volunteer Recruitment Night 7:00pm, Thursday, March 27, 2014 at the Roundhouse Community Arts and Recreation Centre, 181 Roundhouse Mews, Corner of Davie and Pacific, right across the street from the Roundhouse Skytrain Station. This is your chance to get involved! We are looking for volunteers for the following areas:

  1. Website management ( http://www.vanlug.bc.ca )

  2. LinuxFaire Vancouver (an event similar to LinuxFest NW, or LinuxCon or the like).

  3. Teachers/instructors for Open Classroom Project, at FreeGeek Vancouver

  4. Speakers for Library discussions, in which we 'expose' people to non-Windows OSs

  5. Mailing List -- new locale, and software changes that would allow HTML publication of messages

  6. A graphic designer to help with the layout and, well, design of a banner for events.
