[Cross Post] Trusty Tahr Release Party

The Ubuntu Vancouver LOCO is celebrating the latest release of Ubuntu, 14.04 LTS, and you're invited.

Date: Saturday, 17 May

Time: 6:30 to 9:30 PM

Location: Free Geek Vancouver - 1820 Pandora Street, enter off the alley.

We're using this excuse to party with our friends from Vancouver Linux Users Group (VanLUG) and Free Geek Vancouver. There is a lot of overlap already between Vancouver's great triumvirate of FLOSS groups, but there is always room to know each other better. Pizza, pop, music, and conversation supplied. All you need to bring is an open mind and a positive attitude! But other snacks will also be gratefully accepted. This will be a family friendly event so the younger members of the community are more than welcome.

To keep things from getting out of hand, also limited space, we'd like to restrict participation. Please RSVP on the Ubuntu Vancouver or VanLUG meetup site. We'll figure something out for members of Free Geek.
