VanLUG Board Meeting - June 10, 2014

Dear Vanluggers & Board Members; Well, this is the last board meeting before the AGM (June 23rd). Our meeting will be on the 10th of June at SFU Downtown, at 7 PM, tentatively set for CIBC Lecture Rm. 1505 (but it's a good idea to check the notice board at the entrance to SFU Downtown to see where the room actually is, in case it's been moved or I cited the wrong room). I will have an agenda ready as soon as our secretary, Brian Matheson, is able to get the minutes from the last board meeting together. Otherwise, I will send out a truncated version around the 7th of June or so.

If you are interested in attending, PLEASE note that we do NOT discuss Linux-related issues at the board meeting (except occasionally, if there is a technical issue or event that directly affects VanLUG). These are almost exclusively administrative events; if you are an insomniac, this is the place for you. Narcoleptic? Not so much. Our big event each month is the General Meeting, which is also held at SFU downtown, is held every third Monday of each month -- which means June 16th, and is very much Linux-focused.
