http://DevFest.ca is flying in a Google Engineer (Brian Dorsey (https://twitter.com/briandorsey)) this coming December 13 to teach a one-day Docker & Kubernetes workshop.It's a paid workshop, running 10am-4pm on Saturday, at the CodeCore space (second floor of international village mall on 88 W. Pender (https://www.google.ca/maps/place/88+W+Pender+St,+Vancouver,+BC+V6B/@49.2809241,-123.1066215,17z/data=%213m1%214b1%214m2%213m1%211s0x5486717a39c56ced:0x3c1b4081822044d)).
Participants will be running through a sample Go project, and deploying Docker containers across clusters of Google Cloud machines via Kubernetes to host it.If you're new to any of these technologies and would like to give 'em a go, this would be one of the best opportunities to do so.
