Time-based One-time Password (TOTP) is a computer algorithm that generates a one-time password (OTP) that uses the current time as a source of uniqueness. An excellent example of TOPT implementation is the Google Authenticator, a free software-token app that users deploy on their mobile devices.

Patryk Cisek will be talking about the cryptographic concepts behind it and any technical details alongside. This is a beginner-friendly talk, so no background in security nor cryptography is required.
Due to the open standard, a new implementation of the NitroKey App will be demonstrated, and the code can be accessed at https://gitlab.com/Prezu/nitrokeyauthenticator
