He currently manages Friends and Family accounts using ETFs and stocks portfolios that rely 100% on systematic models, based on value and momentum. The SPY surfer is fundraising for BC Children’s Hospital and SickKids Toronto.

7:30-8:00 Learning From Implicit Data (with Python, SciPy and Pandas) - Ben Frederickson (http://www.benfrederickson.com/) leads the Vancouver Data Products team at Flipboard. Previously, He led backend development at Zite - responsible for Zite's news recommendation engine as well as a bunch of other backend services.
