How to make Selenium WebDriver scripts faster?

Selenium WebDriver scripts are slow.

It is common to have even simple scripts running in 10 seconds or more.

The execution time gets longer and longer when adding more automation scripts.

What can be done for making the Selenium scripts faster?

The presentation will look into different things that, when used together, reduce the automation execution time significantly.
