Last Chance East Shore Camping Weekend

Congratulations, we just passed the one hundred members mark and this will be our first weekend camping together. We plan to stay over Saturday night in tents, on the east shore, The summer ban comes into force 1st of March. So let's make the most of it.

We intend to have an agenda for the weekend and it will be somewhat determined by the weather nearer the time. However what ever happens we will be camping under canvas and I'm sure we don't need to remind anyone of the potential for sub zero temperatures at this time of year, even on the loch side.

If you are interested in joining us for this, the first of many events, please sign up as soon as possible because we have to make provision for your tent to fit on the site we choose.

For those who cannot manage to stay overnight, you are welcome to join us for one or both days and take part in the activities or just be there show your support.

Children are welcome when accompanied by a responsible adult.

We will have a get together in the evening so if any of you have instruments or a good singing voice bring them with you.

If you are unsure what equipment and clothing you require ensure your comfort in the winter season please contact me. It's always better to err with too much rather than too little which should be easy operating from a car.

So we look forward to meeting you all and will make contact again on the meetup page itself to finalise arrangements for food, sanitation, cooking, campsite and of course the organisation of the camp cleanup before we leave. We will take lots of photographs of tents on loch sides with friendly happy campers doing what they do best – enjoying the outdoors.
