We will enjoy an overnight stay in the lovely city of Ljubljana & then take a short bus ride to our accommodation located just 5 minutes walk from Lake Bled.

This is Part 1 of a two-part trip. You can do Part 1 or Part 2 as stand-alone trips or link the two together.

If you prefer to make your own travel & accommodation arrangements you can join us for any of the day hikes. For each day hike we ask for a £5 donation for GOSH [Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children](https://www.gosh.org/) .

**Getting there & back**
A variety of flight options are available between London airports & Ljubljana.
The bus between Ljubljana Jože Pučnik Airport & Ljubljana bus station takes about one hour.

**Accommodation**
Ljubljana - We have booked our first night at CUBE central rooms for 2. We have an apartment with two twin rooms. This accommodation has additional rooms that can be booked, subject to availability. There are other hotels in this area to choose from if you prefer.

Bled - We have booked 3 nights in a detached holiday home close to Lake Bled. The accommodation has 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, kitchen, WiFi, air conditioning, washing machine, garden with barbecue.

**What will it cost?**
Ljubljana (1 night)
Sharing a twin room in our apartment \~ £25 per person.

Bled (3 nights)
Large double room with 2 occupants \~ £125 per person.
Large double room with single occupancy \~ £165.
Small double bedroom with 2 occupants \~ £95 per person.
Small double with single occupancy \~ £150.
Twin room with with 2 occupants \~ £134 per person.
Sofa bed in living room £119

The above accommodation prices include your £5 donation to GOSH [Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children](https://www.gosh.org/) .

Pay as you go for your transport, food, drinks, personal expenses etc.

**Typical hike details**
We need to have some flexibility to cater for prevailing weather conditions & group ability, however a typical full day hike is likely to be:
Length up to 15km
Ascent up to 500m
Walking time up to 7 hours
Altitude up to 1000m
