🧶 Knitting for Beginners — English Rib Stitch
Join us for a warm and friendly beginner knitting meet-up at Vaughan Social Club. No experience is needed — we start completely from zero, step by step. The main topic of this session is the English rib stitch, and by the end of the meeting you will know how to knit it on your own.
Costs:
• Knitting kit (needles + yarn that you will start using during the class and take home to continue your project) — 20 CAD. If you already have your own supplies, please let me know so I don’t buy a kit for you.
• Event participation — 15 CAD.
During the meeting you will enjoy delicious Basque cheesecake with hot tea in a cozy atmosphere.
Meeting plan:
6:25–6:30 PM — Meet at the reception
6:30 PM — Go together to the Party Room on the 8th floor (Party Room)
6:40–6:50 PM — Welcome, ice-breaking, tea & cheesecake
7:10 PM — Introduction to the English rib stitch and start knitting
The goal of this event is simple: learn how to knit the English rib stitch, meet new people, and spend a meaningful and relaxing evening together.
