About the speakers
Lars Wikman is an independent consultant running Underjord and a member of the core team maintaining and developing Nerves, the robust open-source framework for building IoT devices with Elixir. With 7–8 years actively working in the Elixir open-source community, he brings broad experience and deep expertise across several areas. By his own account, he's Sweden's loudest Elixir developer.

Alvise Susmel is Head of Computer Vision & ML Engineering at Driver Technologies. Based in Italy and working for a US-based company, Alvise wrangles petabytes of vehicle data from across America, extracting insights from countless pixels. Computer vision has been a focus of his for a long time — from his open-source work with YOLO models in Elixir and running inference on the Raspberry Pi AI Kit via Elixir and Nerves, to fine-tuning and adapting models. He has worked with Elixir for many years, and his recent focus has been on the ML tooling around Nx (Numerical Elixir).
