A Community For VC Disrupters who believe "Software should eat VC too!"

We believe that Venture Capital is all about investing in Startups that find inefficiencies and problems in specific industries and then solve them. In the process, startups disrupt those industries. For us, VC is no exception! The entrepreneurial mindset should also be applied to VC.

We organize casual meetups for members to get to know each other and discuss the projects they are working on that might be disrupting the traditional VC model by: technology, data, crowdsourcing, or anything else.

We also feature one of these projects and have a fireside chat with the founders. It's an open group for all Founders, VCs, Angel Investors, and anyone who's interested in the Future of VC.

Younis was born in Pakistan, and emigrated to the United States in 1988. He grew up in the Detroit area. After graduating from Kettering University, he went on to complete his MBA at Harvard Business School.

His first job out of Harvard Business School was at Sears Holdings headquarters in Chicago, but he then moved to San Francisco to start TalkBin, a platform for customers to give feedback to small and medium-sized businesses. The company graduated from Y Combinator's 2011 class, and was acquired by Google that year.

After the TalkBin acquisition, Qasar joined Google as a Group Product Manager for business facing products. He continued advising other startups, particularly through Y-Combinator. In July 2014, he became a part-time partner, and was promoted to COO in August 2015.
