The Bhagavad Gita is one of the great spiritual books of the world. It presents a universal philosophy that shows us how to live a life of purpose, action and happiness.

The 2-session course will give an introduction exploring the Gita’s relevance to humanity and its insight into the psychology of the human mind when we are confronted with choosing how to progress beyond fear and procrastination into action and conviction.

We will also set the scene: Arjuna, the greatest warrior of the day is thrown into despair when he sees the battle-lines drawn up and finds his friends and family facing each other. Arjuna is frozen into indecision - like all of us are at times in our lives.

We are following the edition of the Gita by A. Parthasarathy.
Course material will be provided initially until you obtain a copy for your own study. Please be in touch if you would like acquire a copy from Vedanta Eternal.

The class will be led by Parulji who has been researching and studying the Gita for over 3 decades under the guidance of Swami Parthasarathy, the founder of the Vedanta Academy in India. Her approach is to encourage questions and to welcome debate – all within a framework of openness and camaraderie.

All the classes take place at 7.30am UK time on Zoom - a time when the mind is clear and the working day has yet to begin. Anyone from anywhere in the world is welcome. We look forward to hearing from you.

💵 Fee: The sessions are by donation and the amount is at your discretion.
